Villeneuve, Circuit Gilles - - -Situated on Ile Notre-Dame in the middle of the St. Lawrence River facing downtown Montreal, the challenging circuit has been the home of the Canadian Grand Prix since 1978. The site was named after legendary Quebec-born FERRARI driver, Gilles Villeneuve, in 1983, a year after his death during final qualifying at the BELGIAN GRAND PRIX.
